Safe cutting regions

 


Solid bottom bases may require openings for cables or piping to pass through.  The bases have a rib structure that must not be cut.  The safe regions that can be cut are shown on the diagrams below.   Use an angle grinder with a cutting blade and a jigsaw or sawzall to remove the least amount of material required.  Seal with caulking as needed.
