Weld Plates can be embedded in the sidewalls and/or bottoms of the trench. You can then weld onto the plates any pipe or cable supports you desire. Weld plates are typically made of 3/8" thick carbon steel ungalvanized so they can safely be welded.

Tie Plates are used to join the bases together in conditions where differential settlement is a concern or a more rigid system is desired. We can provide embedded plates like above with a tie plate that is welded between them.

Bolted Tie Plates can also be used to mechanically connect the bases. This saves money on site since you don't have to hire a welder and don't have to drag the welding equipment around. You just need a wrench. This rigid connecion also gives a little bit to allow for thermal expansion and contraction in very long runs. These are anchored to embedded unistrut in the sidewalls.
